Dr. David Hauswirth is a native of Columbus, Ohio. He received his undergraduate degree from Wittenberg University. He then earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio (University of Toledo). After medical school, Dr. Hauswirth returned to Columbus and did a combined residency in Internal Medicine (adults) and Pediatrics at The Ohio State University and Columbus (Nationwide) Children’s hospital. Following his combined training, he went to Duke University in Durham, NC for specialty training in Allergy and Immunology.

Dr. Hauswirth is a board-certified allergist/immunologist specializing in treating all allergic conditions, asthma, immune deficiencies for infants, children, and adults. He highly values his relationships with his patients and their families.

When not working, Dr. Hauswirth enjoys running, rowing and many other outdoor activities with his family. He lives in Columbus with his wife and two teenage children.
