Eugene Chio is a board certified otolaryngologist originally from central Indiana. He matriculated from Indiana University School of Medicine in the top 10% of his class, earning induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society, an award given to top students. He completed a surgical internship at Mount Carmel Medical Center and his residency in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at The Ohio State University. He spent the next 15 years as an academic general otolaryngologist, building one of the largest hypoglossal nerve stimulator programs in the country for the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea. He continues to practice adult and pediatric general otolaryngology and is excited for the next chapter in his career.
Dr Chio has lived in Dublin for the past 13 years with his wife and children and has interests in automotive building/restoration, cooking, soccer, and spending time with friends and family.
