Dr. Basaran received his B.S. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, department of biology. He later earned his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. He then completed his pediatric residency at Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis, Indiana, and his fellowship in allergy/immunology at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children (Temple University) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Basaran is a board-certified allergist/immunologist specializing in the treatment of children and adults with allergies, asthma, and immune deficiencies. He has been practicing for over 30 years and highly values his relationships with his patients and their families.
Dr. Basaran lives in Lewis Center with his wife. They love spending time with their grown children and grandchildren. He also loves gardening, traveling, and being in the church choir.
